Pave (the “Company”) respects the privacy of individuals who access or use the Pave platform, including the Pave mobile application (the “App”) and the related web platform located at https://app.joinpave.io/ (the “Site”), together with related technologies (collectively, the Site including any updated or new features, functionality and technology, the “Service”).
This Privacy Policy describes how the Company collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal information in connection with access to and use of the Service. The Service includes a digital marketplace technology platform that connects youth and aspiring athletes (“Users”) with collegiate and professional athletes (“Mentors”) for the purpose of mentorship, guidance, advice, and engagement services.
The Company collects and processes information in order to operate and maintain the Service, facilitate mentorship interactions between Users and Mentors, support transactions conducted through the Service, maintain platform security, comply with legal obligations, and improve the functionality and performance of the Service.
This Privacy Policy forms part of the Pave Terms of Service and is incorporated therein by reference. Access to or use of the Service constitutes acknowledgement of the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
If an individual does not agree with the practices described in this Privacy Policy, access to or use of the Service should be discontinued.

Personal information may be provided when registered for an account, communicating through the Service, purchasing services offered by Mentors, or otherwise interacting with the Service.

Information Relating to Minor Users
The Service permits individuals between the ages of thirteen (13) and seventeen (17) to access certain features of the service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
In connection with such use, the Company may collect limited information relating to Minor Users, including:

- Account credentials
- Communications conducted through the Service
Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising the Minor’s use of the Service. The Company does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen (13). If the Company becomes aware that personal information from a child under thirteen (13) has been collected without appropriate parental consent, the Company will take reasonable steps to delete the associated account and information.

Payments made through the Service are processed by third-party payment processors, including Stripe. The Company does not store full credit card or payment card information. Payment information is collected and processed directly by the payment processor in accordance with that processor’s privacy policies and terms.

Platform Safety and Moderation: Information collected through the Service may be used to monitor compliance with the Terms of Service, investigate suspected misconduct, enforce platform policies, and protect the safety of Users, Mentors, and Minor Users.
Improving the Service: Usage information may be analyzed in order to evaluate performance, understand user behavior, improve platform functionality, and enhance the overall experience of the Service.
