Pave is for two types of athletes:

• Aspiring athletes (middle and high schoolers) who want real insight, direction, and motivation from someone who’s been there.‍
• Proven athletes (college and professional athletes) who want to share their experience, give back, and earn from mentorship.

Yes. Creating a profile is free for both mentors and mentees. You only pay when you purchase a Q&A response, monthly messaging, or book a 1:1 video call.

Pave is built by athletes, for athletes. Every connection is authentic, personal, and built around real experience. Whether you’re asking for recruiting tips or mindset advice, you’re getting it straight from someone who’s lived it.

Download the Pave app, sign up, create your profile, explain your story, current state as an athlete, and explain your goals. Once you publish your profile, you can start connecting with college and pro athletes right away.

Browse through athletes by sport, level, location, or background. Pave will auto-match and suggest athletes that align with your goals and story. You can view their profiles, see what they offer, and choose the option that fits your goals and budget. These engagement options include: submitting questions for personalized video responses, subscribing for monthly messaging, or booking 1:1 video calls.

Anything related to your athletic journey: goal setting, mental approach and mindset, training routines, recruiting advice, and preparing for college-level competition.

• Monthly Messaging: Stay connected with your mentor through in-app messages each month.

The Connect tab in the app shows all your booked calls, ongoing conversations, and completed interactions, making it easy to stay on top of your mentorship.

Each athlete sets their own rates based on the type of offering and time commitment. You will always have transparent pricing upfront before booking.

You can explore featured mentors, view ratings, or start with a single question to get a feel for their story and personality before committing to more or long-term sessions.

Yes! You can work with multiple mentors across different sports or positions. You can build a “team” of mentors for all aspects of your athletic development.

College and professional athletes create mentor profiles, set your own rate and offerings (Q&A videos, monthly messaging, or 1:1 video calls), and manage/execute everything within the app. Aspiring athletes can discover, vet you as an athlete, book sessions with you, ask questions, and pay for access to message you all in one place.

Signup on the website, download the Pave app, verify your athletic background, and set up your offerings. Once approved, publish your profile on the app and promote yourself on social media and you will start getting discovered and connect with aspiring athletes right away.

You can choose from three formats:

• Answer Questions (short, paid selfie video responses)
• Monthly Messaging (direct chats with your mentees)‍
• 1v1 Video Calls (scheduled video sessions for more tailored, in-depth mentorship)

Yes. You set their own rates and manage your availability directly in the app.

Payments are processed securely through Pave and can be transferred to your bank account once sessions are completed.

The Connect tab keeps track of your calls, messages, and open questions, and responses. You will see all your activity in one place, so it’s simple to stay organized.

You get to earn money for sharing advice from your athletic experience, build your personal brand, and make a real impact by shaping the future of young athletes.

Athletes pay securely through the app at the time of booking & purchase. Pave holds the payment until the mentor completes the session or response. If the Mentor does not answer after a set period of time, or skips a call, the payment can be automatically refunded.

Yes. All transactions are encrypted and processed by trusted third-party payment providers.

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis if there’s a technical issue or a mentor doesn’t deliver a session.

Pave takes a service fee for each session that takes place. You’ll always see the cost before you buy.

The Connect tab is your central hub for connecting with your mentor. It tracks all your questions, messages, and upcoming 1v1 calls so you can easily manage your relationships and progress.

Yes. All communication including messaging, calls, and Q&A happen securely inside the Pave app.

Yes. Parents are encouraged to help younger athletes set up their account and oversee payments and progress for sessions.

Pave is app-based for now, designed for smooth communication and scheduling between athletes. The web app is coming soon!

Yes. Pave partners with schools, clubs, and organizations to give athletes structured mentorship access from college and professional players.

Yes. We offer ambassador opportunities for athletes and organizations who want to represent Pave in their community.

All mentors go through a quick verification process to confirm their college or pro status before going live on the platform.
